Background information

This is a draft or prototype page and it is subject to change. It was prepared by C. M. Sperberg-McQueen for the Española Valley Humane Society (EVHS). If it is thought helpful, the page will migrate to an appropriate location on the EVHS web site.

The graphs are drawn using Google Graph Toolkit, a Javascript library made publicly available by Google. The data points are transcribed from existing annual statistical summaries on the EVHS web site.

Change log

• 21 June 2012: Make the checkboxes respond immediately, rather than requiring the user to click the Redraw button.
• 20 June 2012: add other time series, allow the user to select which statistics to show.
• 19 June 2012: first version, using Google Chart Tools to display intake data and allow user to choose chart style.
